A page anyone can talk to. Built from a researcher's own papers. EU-hosted, privacy-first, safe for working papers.
Scholar[RAG] · The GitLab of research · Early access 2026
Scholar[RAG] is the same underlying product, but each audience deserves its own pitch. Find your perspective below — each landing dives into the features that matter for you.
Every Scholar[RAG] is built on the same architectural foundations. Editorial design, EU infrastructure, the same RAG engine. What changes is how it's presented.
Adding value at every step, for every audience.
Too much research dies buried in PDFs no one will read. Most academic papers are never cited — let alone read. That's a translation problem, not a science problem.
Democratizing science by building the bridges that are missing — between researchers, the public, journalists, and industry. So research integrates into society, rather than staying in silos.
Scientists out of the ivory tower. Each researcher with a face, a voice, a presence beyond their PDFs. Science that finally talks back — in everyone's language.
For audience-specific questions, see the dedicated landings above. These are the universal ones.
No, ever. Your papers, your notes, your private corpus stay yours. We use LLMs as retrieval engines — they never see your raw data for training purposes. Privacy-first by design, not as a checkbox.
Same data, same chatbot, same intelligence layer. What changes: the sections highlighted, the default tone of responses, the CTAs presented. A researcher visiting another researcher sees Collide / Cite / Add to favorites. A journalist sees Request interview / Get press kit / Quote-ready snippets. The headless architecture makes this trivial.
The MVP is live at scholarrag.com/s/sebastian(Sebastian's own ScholarRAG, built for ICCC 2026 in late June). Early access for a limited cohort of researchers starts shortly after. Join the waitlist below to be among the first.
The core (page + chatbot + QR codes + multi-tone) will have a generous free tier for independent researchers. Advanced features (Research Intelligence, Collider, Career Pro) will be paid tiers. Pricing announced near launch — we want it accessible.
Three reasons: (1) RGPD compliance by construction — no data transfer mess, (2) safe for working papers — your unpublished work stays in EU jurisdiction, (3) no training data concerns — unlike US platforms, our infrastructure cannot legally be repurposed without your consent.
Always. Full export to Markdown (your bio, autobiography, notes), original PDFs (your uploaded papers), and JSON (your chatbot history). No lock-in. Take your data with you whenever you want.
