How does the consulting marketplace work?

Researchers explicitly opt-in for consulting. Their availability, hourly rate (or "negotiate"), topics, and prior industry partnerships are public. You contact them via Filtered Contact (chatbot pre-screens your inquiry, then routes to them). Scholar[RAG] doesn't intermediate the contract โ€” you contract directly with the researcher or their institution. We're a discovery layer, not a temp agency.

What about IP, NDAs, and confidentiality?

NDAs and IP arrangements are handled in your direct contract with the researcher. Scholar[RAG] provides discovery and initial routing, but does not see or store your R&D problem statements unless you explicitly use TheForge B2B specsheet generation (which is opt-in, encrypted, scoped to your engagement).

Can I get exclusive access to a researcher's corpus or future work?
